Achievement Academy to hold Rise & Shine Walk for Kids

The Achievement Academy will hold a Rise & Shine Walk for Kids to raise awareness and support for children with special needs.  The walk will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland.  Registration begins at 7:30 am at the First Presbyterian Church on Lake Hollingsworth with the walk starting at 8:00 am.  For more information, contact Cece Christian at 863/683-6504.

The Achievement Academy is a Pre-Kindergarten Charter School providing education and therapy services to children with developmental delays/disabilities in Polk County.  The Achievement Academy assists children through age six and their families through education, support, resources and advocacy at each of its three locations – Lakeland, Bartow and Winter Haven.
