Bartow’s Just Say No Parade, Rally and Community Luncheon

Bartow’s 21st annual “Just  Say No” Parade, Rally and Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. The annual parade will kick off at Tom’s Chicken Shack, 901 E. Main St., at 9:30 a.m., and will continue down Main Street turning left on Broadway Avenue on its way to Bartow High School.

The rally is made up of  Bartow area 5th grade students from Alturas Elementary, Anna Woodbury Elementary, Bartow Elementary Academy, Eagle Lake Elementary, First Methodist School, Floral Avenue Elementary, Gibbons Street Elementary, Highland City Elementary, Spessard Holland Elementary, Stephens Elementary, and  Wahneta Elementary.

The public is welcome to attend the day’s final event, the Just Say No Joint Civic Club and Community Luncheon at the Bartow Civic Center. The program will begin at noon with Floyd as guest speaker. The luncheon cost is $10.00 per person. Tickets are available at the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce.
