Depression and Bipolar Awareness: From Diagnosis to Remission

Join us for an educational event on mental health.  The program, Depression and Bipolar Awareness: From Diagnosis to Remission, features medical experts and a panel of patients and family members talking about their experiences with depression and bipolar disorder, the benefits of treatment, and recovery. The program’s experts include Dr. Kay Redfield Jamison, professor of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; Dr. Paula Clayton, medical director of AFSP, and Dr. John Greden, executive director of the University of Michigan Depression Center. 

After the showing of the film, a panel discussion will take place featuring Marie Dudek, Chair of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and Adam O’Connor, Certified Recovery Peer Specialist, Tri County Human Services, Inc.
