The Bartow Performing Art Series (BPAS) “Festival of the Arts” concludes on April 24 and 25 with the Great American Trailer Park Musical. Direct from Broadway comes a one-of-a-kind musical to close out the season.
The play has been called the musical comedy equivalent to cheese fries. There’s a new tenant in town, and she’s wreaking havoc in Florida’s most exclusive trailer park. The score is infectious, the script cheeky and girl-group singing roof raising. The musical is produced by Theater Works Florida and features a 7:30 p.m. Saturday performance and a 2:00 p.m. Sunday matinee, both at Bartow Elementary Academy Auditorium, 590 South Wilson Avenue.
Tickets for the BPAS events are on sale now at the Bartow Chamber. General admission tickets are $15 per show. Senior (55 or better) tickets are $12 per show, and students K-12 are $10. Children not yet in school are free with a paying adult.
