Serving at Relay for Life
Relay for Life–American Cancer Society (Lake Hamilton Ward of Haines City)
Twenty-seven volunteers from the Lake Hamilton Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helped at the Relay for Life in Haines City and Auburndale, Florida. A total of 128.5 hours were donated. Volunteers helped with set-up and assisted with booths starting Friday afternoon and helped clean-up on Saturday morning.
Ashton Cox, a Junior at Auburndale High School wrote these words of encouragement to a friend who is battling breast cancer right now, “Be strong and of a good courage”.
