Trek Ten Trails organizers are beginning to develop new web factsheets for the upcoming 2011 program, and invite trekkers to submit favorite photos to be featured.  Trek Ten Trails for 2011 will add at least five new trails and include all previous sites from which five may be selected to round out the required ten hikes for the 2011 season.  Trekker trail photos are needed to give a fresh look to web factsheets for:  Auburndale/TECO Trail, Bok Tower & Gardens, Circle B-Bar Reserve, Colt Creek State Park, Crooked Lake Prairie, Fort Fraser Trail, Gator Creek Reserve, Green Swamp East, Hickory Lake Scrub, Lakeland Highlands Scrub Preserve, Lake Hollingsworth, Lake Kissimmee State Park, Lake Wales Ridge State Forest, Lake Wales Trailway (Depot Museum), Mackay Gardens and Lakeside Preserve, Mosaic Peace River Park, Peace River Hammock, Sadde Creek Nature Trail, SUMICA, Tiger Creek Preserve, and Van Fleet State Park.

Photo credits without monetary compensation will be given for any photos used.  Photos become the property of Friends of the Parks Foundation and may also be used on the Friends website (www.friendsoftheparks.net) , in publicity releases, or other materials to promote the FREE Trek Ten Trails Program.  Please include where photos were taken, and your name when submitting to glendamink@polk-county.net or marianryan@gmail.com.
