ABWA Lakeland Hosts Social Media Speaker
August 11, 2010 American Business Women Association hosts guest speaker Barbara B. Nixon, PH. D. She will be presenting, Seven Things You Need to Know about Social Media NOW, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lakeland Center.
Barbara teaches at both Georgia Southern University and Southeastern University. She is a life member and past president of the International Listening Association. Barbara teaches a variety of public relations courses, including Social Media for Public Relations and Corporate Public Relations. She plans to share her knowledge from teaching and serving in leadership roles within two Fortune 500 companies.
The public is welcome to attend; price is $30 for non-members, including lunch. Participants must RSVP to lakelandabwa@yahoo.com, no later than the Thursday, July 29, 2010.
