Draperies Add Warmth & Beauty

Soft window treatments are a beautiful accent to your home. They can accent a view, control light, protect your furnishings from harmful rays, add privacy, but most important is they add elegance and color to help define the style of your home.

Most of my customers do not add soft window treatments for privacy, but to bring in additional color to accent the furnishings. There are endless options and combinations depending on the size and location of the window.   You must decide if you prefer: a) full drapes to cover the window when closed, b) side drapery panels, c) a top valance, d) a fabric swag over a decorator rod, and this is just to name a few.

The fun part is then deciding the best fabric and texture to compliment your furnishings. This should be determined from the inspiration colors in your room. If you have solid or muted textures in your furniture, you have the ability to be bolder with the fabric pattern, and vice versa. Take a before and after picture and see the difference!
